My Story at MotherBoard
During my 6-month graduation internship at Goldenflitch Studios, I was the primary
designer on MotherBoard a platform built to replace the fragmented, manual systems
schools use to track student growth.
Collaborated closely with:
Himanshu Kandpal (Lead Designer)
Shubhansh Mahawar (UI/UX Designer)
Gaurav Kute (Product Manager)
Karan Dwivedi (Backend Developer)
Yuvraj Gupta (Backend Developer)
Pushpa Bhandari (Backend Developer)

Unlike other school Portals, Motherboard focuses on

Parking
Ownership
Automation
Convenience
Problem
Schools Had Data. Nobody Had Context
Research revealed that student information was scattered across spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, reports, and disconnected tools.
As a result:
Teachers spent 4-6 hours creating reports
Mentors conducted check-ins without data
Parents only received updates twice a year
Administrators relied on manual processes
Students lacked visibility into their own growth

Who I Designed For

Instead of focusing on one persona, I mapped the needs of five major stakeholders:

01
Teachers

02
Students

03
Parents
